The Utoware scheduling
module is tightly integrated with the time and attendance module resulting in a
host of functionality to help managers properly schedule employees: When time off is approved for an employee this information is readily
available when scheduling. Employees
cannot clock-in for shifts they have not been scheduled for.Employee shift preference information is also right at the scheduler’s finger
tips so even new managers stepping in can know immediately how employees like to
be scheduled.
Reports and Analysis
The Utoware scheduling
module also stores historical information mapping it to actual time and attendance**. This provides information that helps
better analyze a business’s human resource needs and the efficiency with which those
human resources are being used. An
example of using that information would be the ability to query average man hour
usage for a given work load or weekday – information can even be compared on a seasonal
basis i.e. being able to see what staffing levels were being used on Monday s in
Spring. There is also overtime analysis
and payroll analysis by position, section, department or division.
